mindpuncture
I have an Olympus PEN-D that was given to me 15yrs ago. It looks like new in the box with lens cap, manual, wrist strap, flash bracket, and leather pouch; I mean this has it all. So today I thought I would have some fun with it and shoot some film through it for the first time. The meter worked so I thought COOL, although the film advance seems to be locked up and the shutter will not work, so now I think poop :( Now does anyone have a clue? Could it really be broken or am I not smart enough to figure it out:P I received the from the original owner (family member) and I know he takes great care with his photo equipment so I'm stumped now~ terry
charles_stobbs3
I would try rewinding the film and reloading it several times. It may help. I used one off and on for years but never ran into that problem. Also with the back open check that the take up spool, sprocket, and rewind crank and spool all turn frely in the advance direction. Good luck.
