m._howard_edwards
I have a Zenza Bronica, 55 mm f4.5, Schneider-Krueznach Zenzanon PE PCS Super Angulon Lens. This tilt/shift lens is also made with the Rollei mount. The small (70 mm dia. x 15 mm long)plastic bellows protecting the tilt mechanism has finally succumbed and needs to be replaced. Schneider USA says out of production, no parts, see Bronica. The nearby (California) Tamron authorized repairer could not help. Can any of you help? wolf_rainer_schmalfuss
Howard, why don't you send this lens over to WIESE-FOTOTECHNIK in Hamburg/Germany, and get first an cost estimate (25 Euro) which will be compensated, if you order repair of the lens. Absolutely fair price and professional repair with guarantee. Cheers

m._howard_edwards
Ronald and Brian, I had contacted Schneider as indicated above. I was advised that they could not help. Wolf, I am trying to contact Wiese-Fototechnik via email. so far, no luck. Thanks to you all. Howard
OCULUS New York
FWIW, I saw a Rollei Schneider 55 PCS on ePrey a couple years ago that had its front element replaced and all bellows/seals replaced, and Schneider charged $3500 for the job. You should count on nearly that cost for basic overhaul, given the fall in Dollar and time passage. I think the new lens itself is now in the $8000 range. wolf_rainer_schmalfuss
Hi Howard, I've contacted the firm WIESE-FOTOTECHNIK. I was told, that they have not received your mail! Spare parts of the plastic bellows are out. But Mr. Wiese said, that he can help to repair with a leather bellows, which might be better than plastic anyway. Try again under info@wiese.fototechnik.de Cheers Wolf
m._howard_edwards
Before the last posting I contacted Ken Ruth at Photography on Bald Mountain. He agreed to take on the repair, and he made an effective replacement for the bellows at a fair price. Thanks to you all for your suggestions. The contributors to Photo.net are priceless.
