olegmoiseyenko
Would appreciate if someone could recommend me the proven 10-AA battery holder(15V total) to power-up the Rollei 6008 AF camera in the "middle of nowhere".

Thank you in advance and regards,
Oleg
terry_dent1
I bought one a couple of years ago from Kurland Photo. It is a wonderful device that will supply all the power you need in any condition. I loaded it with 10 AA lithiums. It is bulky to use though. It was expensive too. About $300US if I recall. I just hook it on the tripod to more everything around.
tak_l._poon1
I am using it. As far as I know, the battery holder cannot be used directly with the camera. It goes into a powerinterface, which is a block of electronic DC voltage converter that fits into the battery slot in the camera body. This thing accepts any DC source from 12V to 18V through a standard 2.1mm coaxial DC jack. I find this thing very useful. I can use small packs of LiPo battery (those that model helicopters use) which is rated at 11.4V through a short cable. You can easily make any 10 cell AA or AAA battery holders with simple componants from radioshack. cheers Tak
