amypang
Is there anyway to know more about this community. Like how many active and passive members from what country. How many photos/folders. what the history, background or affiliation of this website?
frank_skomial
Many members on photo.net have fictitious names for the web. Do not ask me why ? - but I guess there are many many reasons behind this. Some perhaps are affraid of revealing their names due to past life experiences, or unknown expectations of the future ? I am sure others will tell you why they do not use real names. Once you have a real person name, the need to know more about person gets interesting. You can explore the COMMUNITY section... lex_photo
I agree with Amy, it would be neat to know something like the average number of photos submitted, critiqued, rated by the average photo net member. It would also be interesting to know how many (not whom) are active on the site (critique others photos, post in forums and the like) vs passive (only submit photos to be critiqued/rated) or are completely inactive. I could understand though how this might be a lot of work to ask for just satisfy some curiosity - Lex
amypang
I mean some background statistic about this site, like number of hits in last 24 hours, how many members etc to enable us to know more about this site. I think this info is also useful when advertisers are looking for sites to post ads.
joshroot
There are a few general stats here: http://www.photo.net/info/advertise Our advertising guy has plenty of other stats for companies discussing ad campaigns/sponsorships.
