A greedy and stupid policy." Very true, but since the camera makers know their latest and greatest will sell like hot bread as soon as it hits the street, they just don't worry too much. This is why I wait (if I can), until a camera is out for at least 6 months before buying. And this is why more competition is good and will only serve the customers better.
