shane_noble
I just bought a hasselblad 501c 2 days ago. I just went to run a roll through it, and with the back on it will not fire. I have another back from school and it works fine. I think i may be missing something. The back has a little window so you can see how far to advance the film, i advance it to one, attach it to the camera, take out the dark slide, and the shutter release button will not move. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
leicaglow
Is the shutter cocked? Will it fire without the back attached? If so, that tells you it's in the back most likely. If that's the case, then maybe the lever that senses whether the dark slide is out is stuck (though I've never seen this).
mike_barger
The tab you use to wind the film to number one, after you reach the number one rotate the tab back to the left and it will set the side window to number one and you'll be go to go. dave_wilson1
The only things to keep from firing is either the darkslide lever or the same that trips after you've shot the last frame. My stuff is put away right now so I can't give you a better answer.
