RaymondC
Hi this Lightsphere of his: Is it as easy to use and good quality photographs as his video's show? What I am wanting is to shoot the camera and get good photographs overseas - this is with family in a small Hong Kong apartment as outside at night time with neon lights in the background and in the botanical gardens. Not heaps of portraiture but a good couple number of them. I also like the Lightsphere if it can avoid the flash bracket - ie., how Gary Fong twist the speedlight to a certain way so he can shoot vertically and horizontal with the Lightsphere without a flash bracket. So .. does it work and good quality photographs? Thanks
juanjo_viagran
Ray, I have both Lightspere, the cloud and Clear, and IMO they are GREAT, better than the Nikon and sto-!!!! diffuser.
dave_weber1
I too have one and it's better than any diffuser I have ever used. Easy to use. I will never again use my flash without one.
Dimolden
Ray, I am a big fan of using this lightsphere... I never use my flash without it... It is very good and for portrait it is excellent... I use it with my 10.5mm lens and the light is very good...
russ_butner___portland__or
I actually prefer the Demb Flip-It http://www.dembflashproducts.com/flipit/ I find it much easier to store, mount and carry. And it's totally adjustable on the fly. It's the only one that I use now. Russ
doccamera
I also like the Gary Fong unit, But you can buy it much cheaper from another manufacturer via ebay. Perform a search under "Nikon 800" and you will find this Lambency unit which I purchased and compared and is identical to my Gary Fong Lightsphere for a third of the price with some extra color filters.
