JDMvW
Many ordinary retail outlets that have E-6 processing will also burn a photo CD for you for a modest fee. Ditto for mail processing locations. Kodachrome? ask the place in Parsons,Kansas, that is the only Kodachrome processor left standing. sob... aaron_lam
I just saw an ad for this place in a mag... looks affordable. Might be much cheaper than having the lab scan all images. This place lets you reject scans and not pay for them (up to half the scans or something). http://www.scancafe.com/
henrymudd
The two places I have used here in Omaha to have my E6 developed use dip and dunk and will not make scans at the time of processing. Their after processing scans cost $2-$4 each, which is way too much. I have seen teh scan cafe and might do that. I was just wondering if it might be cheaper to have the scans done at time of processing. I know it certainly is for C-41.
a._t._burke
You are lucky to have a dip 'n dunk shop nearby! I have to wait until I take a trip to San Diego for that.
john_shriver
Slides take much more time to scan than negatives, because of the high Dmax. Time is money.
tibz
If you want to scan Kodachromes <a href-"http://www.dwaynesphoto.com">Dwaynes Photo</a> in Parsons, KS will scan them for you for $4 a roll. Can't speak for the quality as they forgot to scan my last roll. They also do E-6 slide film, print film, etc. Print film is only $3 a roll. henrymudd
Now that's what I am talking about! Okay $4 per roll at time of processing. Can I ask you what size are the scaned files? Are they jpg's?
