patricklavoie
Hi,i want to print let say 2 8x10 in a 10x20 sheet of paper. I then create a empty document of 10x20. Paste my 2 images and now the complicated part....i want crop marks not linearound each print like a easy stroke will do..i want and need crop mark for eachdocument. Anyone now if a action, a plugin, a shortcut exist. The winner will win my appreciation : ) *i know i can create them by hand, but it could be time consuming if i havemultiple format document. I want something liek CREATE CROP MARK like inIllustrator. thanks
richsimmons
Normally, you would use a larger sheet of paper, say 13x19 and put the crop marks in this way because the crop marks are for showing your bleed. What are you using for software? InDesign does this quite well.
patricklavoie
Yes i know, but i want to do this in Ps. Im very comfortable in Indesign, the only thing is i discover couple years ago (and i recomfirmed it last week) that, when you import hirez images in it, and export it as a PDF PRESS or else wiht NO COMPRESSION, opening them back in Ps, and printing it from it..you would get a slight out of focus result..i mean it could only be seen compare to the other directly print from Ps. I call Adobe for that and they was not aware of the problem. The thing is i work for many paranoid photographer that could / would compare to other print they already have and i dont want to explain that because of indesign etc...... So since i want to print 2 copy of the same image onto a single large sheet of paper i want to have crop mark on each of them so i can crop them after. For the how normally i could print a 8x10 on a bigger sheet of paper with crop mark im well aware of this : )
richsimmons
Well, I suppose you could create a custom picture package, but it won't give you the crop marks unless you put them in yourself, but at least the photos will fit right on the page.
