I think for the money, it is one of the sharpest lenses out there....anywhere. timwitt Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 David, I like your photos and I have a nFD 1.4 as well, it doesn't get used as much as it should though.(too many choices)........Jeff, I also have the 1.4 SSC and I wonder what are the attributes that please you as compared to the nFD 1.4. awahlster Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Keep in mind the 50mm f1.8's and f1.4's were the system's salesmen. Since these were almost without exception the first lens in the Canon FD line a person started using it was the image's produced with these lowly 50mm lenses that put the hook deep into the photographers pocket and made them want MORE!
