theodore_papageorgiou
Hi. I want to buy a Tamrac bag, smaller than the 614, which I already have, to put in, a F5, with the 80-200 zoom, the 17-35 zoom, a 50mm/1.4, plus a flash. (The 614, is not for everyday use). I see many models, and I am confused.(I tried to choose one myself and failed, buying one model, not capable of doing the job). Any suggestions? Regards, Theodore. ronald_moravec1
http://www.tamrac.com/welcome.htm I would suggest something in the velocity series
dan_k6
How about the Tenba ProTraveler 675 or 655. I have the 695 and it is built tough, it's padded very well, has a very nice shoulder strap and I like it better than the Tamrac equivalent. ronald_moravec1
http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Shoulder_Bags/classic/Nova_3_AW.aspx No the velocity is too small. Maybe a Nova 3 from Lowe Pro. Call LowePro and ask for dimensions to see if the tele zoom will stand up. I researching this for you I find there are fewer and fewer quality bags out there. It seems to have come down to price competitive junk. Tenba Lowepreo Tamrac Domke will all send brochures if you ask. All have websites with less and less information on them as time passes. You problem seems to be a longish zoom and you want it sized for only one camera. There really never was anything like that I can recall. My last bag was a Lowepro Field and stream that would have fit you bill. Discontinued. I have my Nikon in a Tough Traveler that I have had for 30+ years. Ballistic Nylon holds up well. Fogg and Billingham are quality bags with a high price
benbw
I had a problem finding a bag to fit a similar outfit (F6, 17-35mm, 50mm and 70-200mm), and eventually found a solution with the Domke F4AF - it's a perfect fit, with enough space left over for filters, flash and so on. The F5 is a good deal bigger than the F6 though, so I'd try it out in a shop first if I were you. Hope that helps. Ben
juanjo_viagran
I have the Nova 5 and is AWESOME, it may be to big for what you want, but they make Nova 4 and Nova 3, the built quality is GREAT, plus with the rain cover, can't go wrong with there bags.. elmar001
www.shutterbug.com has lots of tests and reviews on bags that were published in their magazine. Good luck.
andrew_luke2
cambags.com maybe a rezo series lowepro? I have a 190 but i'm not sure it's deep enough for the 80-200...
Ed_Ingold
I use a LowePro Pro Mag II for an F5 or similar sized Nikon. It is a relatively narrow, deep bag which holds the camera vertically (in the center) with a lens attached. An 80-200/2.8 will fit vertically to the left of the camera, with the hood reversed. The 17-35 will fit on the camera or to the right. The bag will also hold a 28-70/2.8, so the 50/1.4 will rattle around a bit. Besides the camera and lenses, I carry an SB-800, spare batteries and (now) memory cards.
yraffah
Hi, I just bought a LowePro Vertex 300 AW , which might be too big for your requirement but you can consider the 200 AW or 100 AW models.
