Photoshop CS3 bridge

Hello everyone. I just finished the installation of photoshop CS3. When I open

a photo in raw format it takes me to Bridge, the problem is that unlike CS2 the

picture does not displays in the thunmbnails. Only the icon showing CR2

appears. So I only see all the icons and file numbers until I open an specific

photo. I have the Mark III 1D and I already downloaded the Raw plug-in for this

camera. Can anyone help me or explain why this is happening. Thanks.

Oh yes, if it doesn't work, adobe suggests:

NOTE: If generic camera thumbnails appear in Adobe Bridge, follow the these steps:

1. Check to make sure the plug-in was installed in the correct directory in step 4 above.

2. Start Bridge.

3. Choose Tools > Cache > Purge Central Cache.

Important: Purging the Central Cache deletes cached thumbnail information for all folders. It also deletes labels, ratings, and rotation settings for read-only files (for example, files on a CD or locked files) or file formats that don't have XMP support.

Hello Robert, Thanks for all the help, but still no luck. I tried everything you told me and still the thumbnails dont show the photos. Anyway I am going to try and consult with friend that is a technician. Thanks again for all the help. If anything comes up I will let ou know.

I might also mention that CS3 Bridge also defaults after installation to a display that is not the same as my earlier CS version, or the older Browse function. You need to poke around and customize to get the larger preview display, the EXIF info, etc.
