robert goldstein
I sometimes see photos, both in print and online, that have thin, somewhat soft and irregular dark borders. I would like to create these borders digitally but have not been able to find a method. How can this be done? Rob
sean_schlimgen
Perhaps you could attach an example. Not sure about that specifically but you might want to experiment with drawing with a marker or felt pen by hand on a piece of paper, or around a print out, then scanning that at 300 dpi (or higher), and adding it to photoshop. I've done some really interesting textures this way, you get more of an organic feel to it instead of a mechanical straight even line. Also fun to try with pencil, chalk, paint, ect... Just an idea! john_h.1
Type "Sloppy Borders" in the search box and the very many threads concerning your same question can be reviewed.
