Which lens for K10D?

As a matter of reference, some idea of comparison may be had in taking a look at the numbers given from testing at the photozone website. Their MTF based reolution results, however, even though having value, are done at long distance focus point only. At near distance focus, results can be different.

 

Also, in looking at their charts, I have noticed that the charts for some lenses go up to a different value- say 2050 lines, where others top out at 2350 lines. Sometimes they rate 1950 lines as "excellent" and sometimes it is 2050 lines. So paying attention to the actual numbers is important.
