jun_ea Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I tried to open a RAW file in Photoshop, but couldn't. The error message stated that it isn't "the right kind of document". My camera is Canon 5D. Do I need the correct RAW plug-in from Adobe? If so, does any have a link to the download? If not, what is the problem? Thanks! jim craig Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Sounds like you may need to update your version of Camera RAW, the latest version (4.3) is at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ It may also depend on what version of Photoshop you are using as to whether the update will work. That's just a thought, because you didn't mention what version you are using. Might want to do some reading on the Adobe web site, ESPECIALLY the instructions for installing the update.
