lakitod
I am full time software developer, but in free time I am hobby photographer. My ambitions is to stay in my profession, but I want to improve my photographic skills, to make more aesthetic and better photos from the arts point of view. I can say, I know the basic and some advance techniques, but what I am missing is my insufficient knowledge about arts and photography as a art. I also have not time to take some formal education, but what I am searching is to find the books or any kind of materials that covered the university curricula about photography to learn by myself. I found some books on Amazon but they are mainly more technical oriented or photographers portfolios. Can somebody recommend me some books or other materials that covered the topics that I require. Thanks for your help in advance. Lazar

jeffpolaski
Lazar, you may want to read some books about composition. Not photography composition, but general artistic composition. You can continue to improve your technical skills, but visit museumss and look at what centuries of artists have created.
