Nikon 5700 all's well that...

So, I got a refurbed 5700 for my daughter from Cameta... Excellent camera that

for all intents and purposes, looks new -- with none of the issues that came

with the one I'd gotten from KEH... This is like a miniature Coolpix 8800 and

fits my daughter's hands like a glove. The LCD is small, but you can use the

viewfinder to compose and shoot, and the lens is quite sharp. Quite a capable

camera! Cameta was a pleasure to deal with.

 

According to UPS, KEH has had my returned defective item since the 13th

(1:03PM). They themselves had issued a next day delivery pickup... I called

on the Tuesday the 20th because we'd still received no credit, and was told I'd

get a call back that day, or Wednesday, if there was any problem.

 

No call came, and as of today, the 23rd, still no credit pending. So I called

today and am told they'll be looking into it Monday...

Sorry to hear about your problems with KEH. I've been lucky to never have any problems with them.

 

While I agree that it seems like you should have a credit by now, sometimes it takes a surprisingly long time for a credit to actually process. I've issued credits that have taken up to 30 days to process, blame the bank!

Thanks Rob. Actually, by their own admission, KEH has not, as of right now, November 26th 1PM, issued a credit...
