santer36
i used to have a "status bar" at the bottom of PS7. so when i was running a folter or action it would say what exactly i was doing and a status bar would run telling me how much of the process has been completed so far. well its not there anymore. don't know what i hit. but i can't seem to find out how to get it back. anyone know? thanks joe

mendel_leisk
Are you still using version 7? As far as I know, it's gone in CS and onward, replaced with a flakey pop-up progress bar. I'd love to be proved wrong, tho.

mwaks
To respond in greater detail. Later versions of Photoshop have the status bar at the bottom of the open document. If you click the arrow and and select "show".....you then have a choice of what info you want to show at the bottom of the photo which is where the status bar is located. As Joey has stated the status bar on PS7 is still on the bottom of the page.
pam_r
The status bar only shows up when using Maximize or Standard screen mode. To cycle through screen modes, hit the "F" key.<p> In addition, using CS3, if you right-click the black triangle next to the info while in Maximize mode, you can choose from a drop-down list of options including "Current tool", "Efficiency", "Document size", etc.
