elaine marie
I am up loading the show it web files for a slide show I made to my bludomain control panel under public html. First question is, is that the right folder? Than the show it web files have 2 files with the images. One is named images and on is named tn. Which file of images do I upload? I up loaded the one named images but I am getting an error message when I try to upload the code to my blog. Also I had to up load each image file to bludomain is that right or is there a batch way to upload them? It took forever one by one. Any help with this is appreciated. Thank you,Elaine
jmichaelc
Hello Elaine.... With my Bludomain account, i have a "www" folder that i upload external links. When you create a showit web show, it creates an entire folder. The name of this folder is the name that you named your showit web show. You need to upload the entire folder into the "www" folder at your FTP address. To view the show it web show, you have to have ALL the files that are in that main folder. After you upload the folder into "www", your new link will be: www.elainevangwebsite.com/showitwebfoldername Hope that helps.
elaine marie
Thanks Michael, Uploaded all the files to my bludomain file manager but still can't get it to work. I am not famliar with the FTP process. I sort of understand what it is but when I down load a trial version of FTP software it all looks Greek to me. Thanks for your help ,somehow I will figure this all out. Elaine
colleendonovan
Hi Elaine, are all of the words in the address spelled and capitalized properly?? I know that seems like a dumb question, but the first time I tried uploading a show I had the folder that the show was in capitalized and I hadn't capitalized it in the address so it wouldn't work.
