dweezil
Hi, I bought a 2nd hand CZJ 180/2.8 and it was great, however a screw came loose from the aperture ring and I seem not to be able to get it in again, and it doesn't stop down anymore. Also this ring has somehow shifted and I can't seem to get it to lineup the digits with the mark as if it has shifted a 180?? It is a single coated version that looks like the zebra version but has a chrome aperture ring. Does anybody on this list know about a decent repair shop? Preferably in Belgium or The Netherlands, but anywhere in The EU would be good. Regards, Erwin
JDMvW
Gold Camera in Prague could at the least put you on to some excellent repair services in the Czech Republic. They've always got excellent work done for me. On the other hand, this doesn't sound all that complicated, so I'd just ask locally. The lens is great isn't it? However, there seems to be a history of minor problems with the aperture preview feature that is apparently the weak spot of this lens.

ricardovaste
I've just had a similar issue with my 58/1.4 rokkor lens. The first time id try to repair sticky aperture&broken aperture. This was a cheap lens. Yours is comparatively not. It is indeed simple to repair on a manual focus lens but not worth the hassle especially if you lose the ball-bearing like i did. Take it to a local repair shop, they will repair it for next to nothing i would have thought, its a simple procedure for the guys that know how. Goodluck :)
