brookewhatnall
Hey, The flashing screen problem that occurs with the SB-600 is from a spark caused by sliding it onto the hot-shoe while the flash is turned on, so now I know what not to do, how do I get rid of the flashing screen, I got it into warranty a while ago, it has run out now, and on the form, it said hard system reset, how do I do one of these, and it wasn't just turning it on, and then disconnecting the power, or a reset through the menus, it was something more powerful that reset the screen, does anyone know how to do something like this? vivid_earth_photographics
One good way to remember how to reset the flash is the word "Reset" printed on the back with lines linking the word to the Mode and Power buttons. You hold down those two buttons at the same time for a couple seconds as Mac says above.
