george_c.
http://www.alpineproducts.com/products/Spudz-photo.php#18 Thought I'd share this with you, i bought one a while back and it's come in very handy for metering, the cloth is also very soft and it keeps itself clean by folding into its pouch. Two birds, one stone, Regards, George
mendel_leisk
Mmm, thumbs down: these are 2 disparate functions. I want a grey card that's accurate, and don't relish the though of wiping expensive lens with something I've been handling all day.
studioallure
Yeah i gotta disagree with the idea. Good one though. I'd be pretty pissed if I got a scratch on my lens.
derek_stanton2
I don't understand how this could be a bad thing. You treat it like a lens cloth. Keep it clean. Then, IF you happen to need a gray card, it's there. IF. How accurate does it have to be? It would be better than nothing. If you want to carry a separate card, fine. Also, a gray card has no destructive effect on your files, accurate or not. Two birds, with the option to ignore the second bird if you choose. george_c.
I find it to be more convenient than carrying a grey card, it fits in my camera bag and its not going to get tatty like a piece of card does, so even if it only fulfills one of its functions, its longevity as a grey card is worthwhile, George
