PuppyDigs
+ $500 rebate!? Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
tridakfoto
$500 Mail in Rebate When you purchase A Canon Pro9000 (409.95 = ZERO after Rebate) or Pro9500 (749.95 = 249.95 after rebate) Together with A Canon 5D - Must be on same receipt so basically you pay the $2200 as Ross stated BUT the rebate pretty much applies to the printers not the camera. chris.sager
Its too bad the $400 rebate required the original UPC from the camera box. This would make a 5D + Qualifying Lens + Printer not simultaneous eligible for the suspected upcoming rebate program. If things were similar to the program last year this could yeild a theoritical $1100+ rebate. ($500 for printer rebate, $600 Double rebate on the 5D + double rebate on the other item purchased). zigzag
That rebate would go nicely towards a 5D Mk II.

fourfa
I no longer suspect an upcoming rebate program, other than this. the printers in this deal are about to get really cheap on ebay as people buy and dump them just for the $400 off a 5D
bobatkins
The 40D is included in the program too, with $100 rebate. There's also a scheme with the 40D and MP610/970 printer, with $100 off the 40D and $40 off the printer (at least at Adorama).
More info with links to the rebate forms can be found HERE
As Andy suggests, this makes any direct rebate on the cameras in any fall rebate program (if there is any other program) look a lot less likely. david_wu6
5D + 24-105 for $2,999 seems a better deal.

fourfa
Oops, looks like I was wrong. An "instant rebate" program was just announced. Though just like last time, the major vendors "instantly" raised their prices by the exact amount of the rebate. Just a coincidence, I'm sure we'll be told. What a joke.
