Thanks for posting this Bob, the EF 24-70/2.8 L USM has been on my wish list for a while....but how many versions of the 24-70 lens are there? Any chance they'll ever do an IS version?

As far as I know there's only one version of the 24-70/2.8L

I have no doubt whatsoever that Bob Atkin's report on Canon Fall

Rebates is accurate and truthful, and that it comes from a Canon source.

 

But, if I'm not mistaken, the Forum's rules were not followed, to wit:

Personally, I'd be willing to take a person's word for something he

says/write (unless or until I knew differently) but if the Forum's

rules demand such&such then there must be the same standard

for both Bob and Suhas.
