james_baker6
Very nice indeed !!!! Great camera/lens combination. Excellent work, as always, Luis... I wonder if a Summitar etc. could improve on these fine results?? I still think the Canon had gone ahead of the German's by the 1950's.(granted--the Canon does not collapse)
luis triguez
James, Very kind, as always. I`m not any expert about but I think Canon 50 mm (no Serenar) from the 50s have more contrast than Summitar. To be honest I also prefer Elmar5 coated than Summitar. Nevertheless, IMO Summitar has as much resolution as collapsible Summicron. Summar, Summitar ore Summicron collapsible are more difficult to use than non collapsible lenses with (clicks stops?) and in the case you need small gear nothing but pocket Elmar with any LTM Leica.<div></div>
pensacolaphoto
Nice going, Luis. I am a fan of photography with 50mm lenses. The rigid Summicron is still my favorite.

vincenzo_maielli
Very nice shots, Luis. The Canon 50 is very good and the Summitar (that i own also) is one of my preferred standard lens. Mine was produced in 1955. Ciao.
