nick_churi1
I just bought a Bronica ETRSi to get a feel for medium format photography before they stop making 120/220 film! So far it has been great, giving excellent results. The one thing I long for is either a timer function or a remote shutter release. I am using this camera mostly for family portraits, and there does not appear to be any way to get everybody - including the person pressing the shutter release - in the picture. A search on photo.net and the broader internet did not yield any dividends. I am looking for an inexpensive way of getting the photographer in the picture. Does anybody know of a way to do this? david_dorcich1
I have an old timer i received with a old cannon body i purchased. It screws into the release cable spot. You just set the time then it pushes in the shutter release. I have no idea what it is called, but that would be the cheapest way to do it. kmcgrew
Get one of those long cable releases with a bulb on one end. String out 25 or 50 feet of tubing, hide the tube behind your leg, and squeeze the bulb to force air through the tube and--PRESTO!--you've got a remote release. Here's a Hama 30' release from B&H for $44.95: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/89921-REG/Hama_HA_5362_30_Air_Release.html
