Border Ambilight Feature (like the new Philips plasma TV's)

I was wondering if it is posible to create a boarder in PS with a similar

effect to the above Philips TV system? Just an Idea?

Of course it is. Just like you create a black border now, just choose a color for the border that fits the overall color of the photo. If the photo has a blue tone to it, well, create a blue border that accentuates the blue tone. It's damn simple man.

Thank you Tom - but i was under the impression this Ambilight feature is capable of glowing a different colour corresponding to the edge of the screen that it is by... in simple terms if the top of the picture is blue and the bottom green the this is reflected in the lighting around the screen... throw in a yellow sun in the top left of the screen and again this is reflected in that part of the screen...

For what it's worth I've heard all the theory behind the new TVs, but when I saw them it just didn't do it for me.
