bdb
I just received my first box of Harman FB AI Gloss and made a few test printswith my R2400 in ABW mode. Wow. I'm speechless. The only problems I have with this paper are 1) it seems quite soft andvulnerable to scratching (one of the prints came out of the printer with agouge/scratch on it) and 2) as soon as it's out of the printer it gets coveredwith dust. I live in a dusty house, and there doesn't seem to be much I can do about that. I've previously only printed on matte papers, so the dust issue is probablytrue for all glossy papers - not just Harman. How can I protect my prints from dust? And if they get dust on them, what's thesafest way of getting it off?
jon_shiu
Hi, if they are letter size, you can put them in archival safe sheet protectors. Jon

bdb
Thanks for your replies. I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. The dust is getting on the print right as it comes out of the printer. So I'm talking about the stage before I have a chance to put it in a sleeve (I assume I need to let it dry a bit, and in my office/studio dust gets on it at this point) or in a frame behind glass or acrylic. john falkenstine
If your environment is that bad, I would first find another place to do any printing at all.
