jack_palmer
Is the Visoflex 11A essentially a Viso 111 mirror housing with a Viso 11A viewing head? If not , how does the 11A differ from the Visoflex 11 and 111?
david_love1
A IIa uses a Viso II mirror housing with the following modification: The mirror reset lever is replaced with a Viso III like knob except it has two dots (settings) instead of three. The two setting available on a IIa are automatic mirror reset and mirror lock-up. I believe the mirror reset rate is slow only, where the Viso III has a fast and slow auto mirror reset. The IIa would have been sold with a II viewing head. I understand conversions from a II to a IIa were offered.
ronald_moravec1
To make it a bit more clear, the mirror is spring loaded down and raises proportionally as the shutter release arm is depressed. It is a soft stop at the full open position so there is never any vibration. I have them all and this is my favorite. If you shoot fast moving subjects, get a regular two or a three.
