brijesh_kumar
Does Nikon still make 70-210 f/4.5-5.6 Manual Focus? I need it to complement my 35-70 on FE-10. Or is there some 70-300 also available suitable for the purpose?
Michael R Freeman
It is discontinued. AFAIK, that particular lens (along with the 35~70mm f/3.5-4.8) was actually built by Cosina (as was the FE-10 and FM-10). Why not look for a used Nikon Series E 70~210mm f/4 instead? breogan_gomez
Nikon used to make a 35-200 f/3.5-4.5 which I own. This lens polarize opinions but my sample has a great contrast and and definition stopped down to 5.6 or 8.
waltflanagan
There are a lot of options in that range. I have an older AF 75-300 which has an aperture ring and works just fine on my FE2. The AF 70-210 f4 also gets pretty good reviews considering the price you pay for them. Buy used lenses, you'll save money and the quality from places like keh.com is great. russ_butner___portland__or
The superb second and third editions of the Vivitar Series 1 line, are sharper and faster than Nikon's 70-210 lens. As is the Kiron f/4 70-210. Russ
