linda carlson
In addition to my Canon E0S 20D and new 40D, I have an Olympus Pentax Optio 550, 5mp point & shoot, that takes multiple exposures. I love this technique and I am hoping that Canon or some other maker will produce a digital slr. Anyone out there who has any inside information? Thanks in advance. evan_goulet
Why not do it in post processing. Just blend the two frames together then. It gives you more control over the final product.
colinsouthern
Your prayers are answered - Canon make LOTS of Digital DLRs :) I guess you're meaning Digital DLRs with multiple exposure capability? If so - it's really just not needed - all one needs to do is stack the layers in photoshop and set the opacity of the botttom layer to 100% - next layer to 50% - next one to 33% - next one to 25% - next one to 20% etc. I've done this with 32 layers (as a means to average out high-ISO noise - it worked well). William Michael
. . . and another (photographic) technique is multiple flash exposures during Bulb. WW
linda carlson
Thanks everyone who responded. I frequently layer images in Photoshop. Sometimes I prefer getting away from the computer. I also enjoy the spontaneous interaction and surprise of shooting multiple exposures in the field. And... with the Pentax camera you see exactly what you are getting on the LCD. Sample image attached.<div></div>
colinsouthern
That's a bit much for my poor eyes to handle at 7am on a Saturday morning!
