marilynb
Just checked out this used monitor (private seller) I was very interested, but the text was a bit blurry. Not sure if this is a problem with the monitor, the wrong card (NVIDIA Geforce2 mx/40) or settings that need to be adjusted. Forgive my ignorance, if there's an obvious answer to this! Ed_Ingold
In order to display sharp text on an LCD monitor, the video card must be set to the native resolution of the monitor. I believe the 20" Viewsonic is 1200x1600 pixels. Some system text cannot be resized, and may be very small and hard to read on this monitor. Tim_Lookingbill
Assuming you're on Windows, you should increase the font sizes within desktop setting preferences and of course reset default sizes within your browser. I had to do this on my iMac which has a native resolution of 1680X1050. Very tiny type at this rez.
