arvay
I found that my Pentax 6x7 gives a front focus. Having studied the forum threads I understooв that it may be caused by a mirror. Can the problem be fixed with screwing/unscrewing of two screws that fixing the mirror rails? I mean these ones http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/6424186-lg.jpg Thanks in advance.<div></div>
steve_rasmussen
I would make sure that your camera body lens mount is not causing the problem first; then make sure it is not the lens itself before messing with the mirror/finder system. Does it happen with all lenses? Take a picture with the lens set to infinity and on an infinite object. Does the object appear sharp on the fousing screen without the finder attached? If not, compare with what comes out of the camera. If the slide or print is not sharp, then there is lens mount issue. If the slide is sharp, there is a mirror/focus screen issue. Remember, the focusing screen can move up and down a bit and could be stuck out of position.
