paul_ferrante
I'm looking at a used Nikon 70-300 VR lens. Are all 70-300mm VR lenses the sameor are there VR and VR II. If so, how can I tell the difference? I'm told thatall the 18-200 VRs are VR II. Is it the same with the 70-300?
Peter_in_PA
Just like the 18-200, 70-300 vr only comes in one variety, it's a VR II.

ShunCheung
There is only one version of the 70-300mm AF-S VR. It uses the newer VR which Nikon calls it VR II, but the II part is sometimes abbreviated.
