steve santikarn
Nikon DSLR offers something like a crop button. You can choose hi res/ low frame rate, or low res/ high frame rate. Nifty idea that Canon hasn't adopted yet.
suhaskulkarni
Yakim : Thanks for the sacastic remark. We were discussing about 40D review at luminous landscape which says that the picture quality is at par with 5D. AND it has 1.6 crop factor. Hence, the discussion was few advantages of 40D over 5D None of the Oly's is famous for picture quality which is comparable with 5D. If just having crop factor would help then one can go for digicams which can provide 4x or 5x crop factors.
jimstrutz
Yakim was making a humorous response that was entirely in line with the previous comments. Why would you get after him and not the others?
dmanthree
Given Reichman's history, and his failure to present any comparison shots to back up this claim, why bother even listening? Didn't he fail to report his true findings on the Leica M8? What was his excuse for covering up the M8's inability to capture blacks without an IR filter plastered on the lens? Sorry, but his credibility for equipment tests is suspect, at best. Making a claim like this, true or not, without supporting samples is pretty stupid.
