hughes
Hello all, My Nikon 20mm AF lens will not stop down the pin will move but appears to be unattached is this an easy self fix or does it need to go to Nikon. Any advice would be helpfull. I might add I have had better luck fixing cameras than lenses I have a drawfull of Russian lens parts to prove it. bruno
I had the same problem. It was oil leaking on the blades. It was under warranty and I had it repaired without costs from Nikon in Italy. It took, however, about 4 months to have it back.

rjacksonphoto
This happened to my Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AF-D the day after within two weeks of purchase. My local shop traded it out for me that day ( an advantage of buying local). Not sure of the cause but was not closing down.
