miklosphoto
Charles,I sold my my EOS 3 5 months ago and the only reason I did that is because I had a great opportunity to get a second hand EOS 1V.By the way, my digital camera is also the same as yours but I could not exist without the film camera either. Both the EOS 3 and 1V are the best 35 mm film cameras ever made and I think that if you only shoot one roll of film per month it is worth to keep them. I shoot approximately 3 rolls per month plus maybe two rolls medium format. And by the way, on my 5D after exactly one year of ownership, I just passed the 9999 image counter, so as you can see I am not just a film shooter. If I were you I definitely keep the film camera.Miklos

charles_lipton
I agree. I'm keeping my EOS 3 and my Minolta XD-11 (completely refurbished as new). They are fun to shoot and I still love the sound and feel of a film camera as the shutter fires. Nothing better to me than a beautiful B&W portraiture done in the 30's and 40's style lighting. Thanks all for your responses.
