dg1
I was just reading a review of the E-400 in a photography magazine. They mention that the DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) on the E-400 takes 2 exposures, 1 at a high shutter speed and ISO to compensate for camera movement, and the other to capture color data, then combines the 2. I've been under the impression the DIS mode on the E-410 simply boosts the ISO to allow for a faster shutter speed. The system described in this article for the E-400 is quite a bit more intriguing than simply raising the ISO (whether or not the results are better). Does anyone know if this is how the E-400 DIS works, and if it is the same for the E-410? When I tried it with my E-410, I couldn't tell that any second exposure was made. It just seems to pick the high ISO/high shutter speed.
dg1
hmm.. I feel like I'm in DIS mode judging from the response.. just kidding, evidently no one knows or cares. Not sure I do at this point, I think it's just an ISO adjustment, at least on the E-410. There. Answered my own question.. now there's closure!
