waite_watson
I have a couple c3's that I use.One is a five speed (x synch @ 1/30 sec & -) which I've played with useing electronic flash via a 'converted' 2 prone side mount Argus flash bar (look around there are instructions on how do do it).The other is an older 7 speed (M synch).Well, cleaning out my mother in law's garage this week end I came upon a couple packages of 5b flash bulbs. They fit & I still have the reflector & I want to use them. So,my questions are this:Can I use them with the 5 speed Argus or only the 7 speed? Can't seem to find a guide number...what F stop to use @ what distance with what speed film?I live 4 miles from freestyle's will call/warehouse in Santa Fe Springs & drive right by it on my way to work everyday anyway,so if I need Efke 25 or something it's no big deal.Anyway any help would be appreciated. patrick j dempsey
Hmmm... the only packages of flash bulbs I have seen personally all had exposure information printed on the back.

bob_camarena
Here's a copy of the back of a box of 5B flashbulbs. If you're interested, I have twelve boxes of twelve bulbs each that I'm going to sell. I haven't set a price yet.<div></div>
profhlynnjones
The guide number for 5b's is about 160 for ASA 100, or f16 at 10 feet. Divide the GN by the f stop ford distance or divide the GN by distance to get f stop. Lynn
