stephenwood
Are there any 8x10 field cameras that would take a Sinar/Horseman lens board? I love my p2 but it's too much of a chore to take it out of the studio and I would rather not keep removing the lenses from their boards. Thank you. stephenwood
Thanks Philippe. I'd seen them before and I think at the View Camera conference but didn't realize they now took the Sinar boards.
peter_yee
There are several. The Ebony, Wista, and Shen-Hao use Sinar boards as standard. The new Canham cameras will too. Also, some such as Richard Ritter will build their camera to take the Sinar board as an option.
michael_briggs2
From Canham's webiste, of the 8x10 cameras, the metal JMC accepts Sinar boards. Of the wood/metal Traditionals, the Standard is described as "NOW USING Sinar, Horseman" lensboards, while the Lightweight takes 110 mm boards (Toyo I think).
