tobiasfeltus
an A4 envelope should be bigger than A4, but there should be a paper size for it in the page setup menu. plain paper. voila'. t
Jochen_S
As far as I remember the paper size for envelopes holding A4 is called C4. I know nothing about inkjets, but a setting for plain uncoated paper (if there is one) should be right.
Ed_Ingold
I would expect to get a lot of ink spreading - not a good thing for type legibility. You could get an inexpensive laser printer for the cost of two sets of R2400 cartridges that would do a perfect job on envelopes and text in general. gdw
I cannot tell you the steps for the Epson 2400, but I have printed several different size envelopes on all of the Epson printers I have owned, including my current R1800. Occasionally have even included clip art or designs on the envelopes and they print perfectly. It is no different from printing text on bond paper. In the Epson screen that comes up for printing there has always been an option for envelopes. Just follow the instructions. If your size envelope is not listed simply measure your envelope and set up a custom size. The biggest problem is figuring out whether to run the envelope from the left side or the right side. Just experiment. There is no reason why you should not be able to print great envelopes on the Epson. Inkjet printers print text without any problem.
