tscheung
Hello, I have a stupid question, what file format for upload to the gallery, tif or jpg or ...? Tks
daverhaas
For viewing on the internet I use jpg. It saves space and download time. My service provider prefers this format, although they will accept raw, JPEG, or Tiff. Dave

Stock-Photos
When I have an image ready for saving, for upload to photo.net, I save it to the lossless, but slightly compressed PNG format. This may result in a slightly higher quality jpg displayed here, because you don't get a second "stack-up" of jpg compression artifacts. Also, your question was not stupid.
