michael_mahoney1
Does the rack & pinion focus on the Ebony SW45 have any kind of lock, or is this necessary with this kind of focusing system?
michael_alpert1
My Ebony 45SU locks by tightening the appropriate knob on the left side, either front or back, depending on which standard you are moving. It's very straight-forward. You need to then loosen the left-hand knob to move the lens board or the ground glass. Movement is achieved with either one of the right-hand knobs. I am sure the SW45 locks and moves in a similar manner.
