profhlynnjones
Hi Darko, I don't have any lens books here in my office but I'll make a wild guess based on the name. Aplanats by various manufacturers were often improvements on rapid rectilinear lenses. Baryt probably refers optical glass with barium included in the sand mix which Schott started to do when he separated from the Zeiss plant. My experience with lenses similar to this is that they are pretty good when stopped down a bit. Lynn
darko1
Hi Lynn, thank you for your kind answer. I have try vade mecum but did not find anything about. Have a friend who will make me adapter for copal and I think I will enjoy to shot with that old beautie. Also few days before I`ve been suprised with Nicola Perscheid 210/4.9(also aplanat). DO not have to tell you how lucky I am. Thanx. ..darko
