matt_m__toronto_
anyone know any master printers in toronto? i'm looking to print a couple of tri x negatives and would like to have themdone by someone that really can work a negative in the old darkroom. will be anice comparison to the digital scan/prints i'm currently doing. i imagine it's not cheap, but if you can hint at a price, that would be great too. thanks matt

alexander_illich
I can do them come september in any size you want, I wouldn't consider myself a master but I wouldn't say I'm terrible either, I more or less live in the darkroom. Sincerely, Alex I
jack_lo_..._t_o
I'd try Toronto Black and White on River St. They're very attentive. Hey Matt, when we all gonna get together and get slopped again?
Ian Taylor
Either Toronto B&W, or Bob @ Elevator. Elevator usually runs a 3 for 1 special in the summer.
david k.
Matt, probably the best B&W printer in the city is Jeremy Taylor (416) 467-6460. He prints not only his own 8x10 images with superb quality, but also does work for other artists who need to display exhibition quality prints. I use Jememy to develop my LF negs with Pyro developer, a service hard to find in Toronto.

jack_lo_..._t_o
Matt-I thought that's what my PN dues were for: keepin' you in The Lifestyle so you can organise our meetings at all those posh places. I'll call for beer-drinking volunteers toward the end of this month. I'm busy too right now.
graeme_hodges
A late reply, perhaps... I see that Luminous Landscape highly recommends Colourgenics (www.colourgenics.com) in Toronto. Rgds Graeme.
