spenaloza
I need your help please. I took several pictures at a party yesterday and the system of my D200 did not record two of them, I usually look at the pictures right away after I take them, that?s why I noticed it. Does anyone know, if this happens now and then ?? and why ??? Let me tell you that kept taking pictures and the rest came out well with no problem at all, thanks for your help and comments // Salvador Pealoza
tonybeach
Is there a break in the number sequence of your images? If so, then you probably have a bad CF card.

james_c._turner
I don't know about the D200, but I thought once I turned off my D1H too soon after taking a picture, during it being written to the CF card, and I think I lost the picture?
tonybeach
James, the D200 continues writing to the card after it has been turneed off. In fact, I often turn the camera off and wait for it to power down before changing the card so that I know it has finished writing the last image onto the card.
