SD CARDS CORRUPT - I NEED HELP!

Recommended Posts

k im sorta new at this..but i have a 1gb san disk card and i realized when i was

taking my pictures..i got a message on my camera saying "Memory Card Error" and

when i go to view all my other pictures from before , they're all gone. it says

"no Image and sound". I thought maybe they might still appear if i tried to

upload them on my computer but it said it was corrupt. Now i've gotten this

before on the same San Disk Card but i bought a ComGears - USB 2.0 To ALL - in -

1 Card Reader and my photos were restored. Now it's not working anymore. I even

tried using the side of my Lap Top but it said "corrupt". Is there ANY OTHER WAY

i can get my photos back or am i hopeless? i'd appreciate all the help.

Well, if it's a GENUINE Sandisk card then it's well worth trying to recover the images using the Rescue Pro Software that came with it.

No Rescue Pro software? Then it's almost certainly a counterfeit card and probably only worked for long enough for you to leave positive feeback if you bought it on Ebay. There is specialist software that may be able to help, and specialist firms too, but the chances may not be good.

I know that you can buy software from jessops that you can use to get the photos back, can't remember what its called, but i was told it worked pritty well. and that it could even get photos off that you have deleted over the last few weeks, definatly worth a closer look, i think

hope this helps

You can probably download the software. I downloaded trial rescue software some time

ago (the trial version tells you if anything is there on the card) then you purchase the full

version to retrieve the images.

There are some free programs out also.

Here is a link to Lexar image rescue.

There are some others you can try.

Try a program called Card Recovery from www.cardrecovery.com

You can download a free version that will show what's recoverable, but will need to buy the software to actually do the recovery.

I'm not involved in the software at all, just a VERY satisfied customer.
