On the Exakta/Exa arrangement, there is a rotating bar on the spindle that engages a slot in the top of the spool. Not interchangeable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When he worked, as excellent manifacturer of adapter ring for lenses or other accessoires, he builded a perfect copy of the Leica LTM spool. Maybe, they still have some piece. Ciao.
