michaelging
This is how it starts Michael, mine was a photo in Stars and Stripes when I was in the AF in the Phillippines and it has never stopped.
mharris
Cool Michael, this is a first for me. How long have you been at it? I sent small thumbnails to local newspapers for consideration. I don't know how much if any they pay. They used a lot of the others here: http://www.kxly.com/photos/index.php?gallery_id=
scot
All that was shot with your FT2, right? If so, it'll make a good story 30 years from now. "There I was, with my FT2..Oh, that was an old film camera. What? What's film?...." scot

grain
Congrat's, but I'm actually here with your reality check (sorry). There are no more "Famous" photographers, really. (This is perhaps best posted in the philosophy forum, but:) If you feel accomplishment that's what's important. Keep that Nikkormat going! It's like a press pass in itself, people see it and take it seriously.
yves_jalbert
Hehehe, thanks for that post, it brought a smile to my face. It reminded me of the first time I had one of my shots posted in a newspaper and how excited and proud I was about it. Good times. Cheers, Yves Jalbert
mharris
Thanks all, I won't fame go to my head. Actually it's a good thing it didn't get blown off. I went back today after the crime scene tape came down and I realized how close I actually got to where the shooter was.
