chris_andro
Does anyone know if, with a D70s, there is a way to determine how many shots the camera has taken. I thought that I read somewhere, the camera can display the number of shutter presses. If that is true, please tell me how. Thank you for your help in advance.Chris
joshschutz
your file number should reflect that. that is until it reaches 9999 and then it flips over to 0000 again. assuming that your camera is set at the default of continous file nunbering. oskar_ojala
The number is written into the EXIF data in the JPEG file it produces. A good EXIF reader can pick out the number. If you don't hae one, google for EXIf readers, I use exiftool.

frank_skomial
File number does not have to reflect number of total actuations of camera shutter. Make sure you see EXIF data.
